Swinging

What was special about todays adventure at the park was that it was Leah's first time on the swing...definitely a moment to document. She was a little nervous at first {no surprise}, but after Noah told her ten bazillion times that it was OK and that "Swinging is SO MUCH FUN!", she decided to lay her worries aside and enjoy it. And boy did she enjoy it. That little giggle is music to my ears. We pretty much spent our entire time there swinging back and forth, back and forth, back and forth...

A little nervous...
Once she realized that there was nothing to be nervous about, she would shut her eyes and feel wind blew on her face, which was accompanied by the sweetest little sigh. She also enjoyed watching the other kids run around...she's definitely a people watcher like her brother.
Now, isn't he a stud! He is so dang cute!
Noah pretty much just layed back and enjoyed the ride as I pushed him over and over again.
Noah did discover this toy on the playground and he liked it wouldn't stop spinning. It took all of my effort to stop it. He was SO dizzy when he got off...he didn't like it one bit!

Lots of Cuddles

This little angel wasn't feeling too well yesterday.
It truly breaks my heart when my little ones are sick. I spent my day cuddling, kissing, and doing anything that she needed me to do so that she was more comfortable. Noah is the kindest, most loving big brother to Leah, as he would continually come over to Leah and give her kisses and rub her little red cheek. He is completely selfless, as he only wanted me to tend to Leah so that she would feel better. I am so grateful for the loving and compassionate little boy that he is becoming.

During Leah's nap, Noah and I were coloring and he asked me to draw a "woo-woo" {fire truck}. When I asked him what color it should be, he told me purple and pink for Leah. He just melts my heart with his kindness.

Tubby Time...with TWO

I was a little nervous at first to how Leah would react in the tub with Noah, as she tends to get a little nervous when he starts acting like a two year old {you know...waving his arms everywhere and throwing toys that usually land inches away from her head}, but all was well. Apparently, I had nothing to worry about, as Noah was so kind and didn't do anything that would make me, or Leah, nervous...thank you Noah!

Noah had the best pruned feet tonight...I tried to get a picture, but they depruned pretty fast! Ha!
Instead of storytime tonight, we had singing time. Leah even sang a little...it was sweet :).

After Bath

We took a picture of Leah after her bath last night and it reminds me of a picture of Noah that we took when he was a baby. Same towel, same look...too cute!

Leah ~ 6 Month Stats

I took Leah to the doctor today for her 6 month appointment, and here are her stats from today:
Weight ~ 14 lbs 15 oz {25th percentile}
Height ~ 27 1/4 in {95th PLUS percentile!!}
Head Circum ~ 43 cm {75th percentile}

I was a little nervous about Leah's weight, but the doctor told me that she is perfect in terms of her growth. She is so tall and she is thin, but she still has a ton of baby fat on her. She is just a petite little thing, and we are just fine with that.

When we got home from the doctor, I pulled out Noah's stats from his 6 month appointment, and I was in awe at the difference:

Weight ~ 19 lbs 5 oz {80th percentile!}
Height ~ 29 in {100th PLUS percentile!}
Head Circum ~ 45 3/4 cm {90th percentile!}
Um....he was definitely a CHUNK!

Leah's First Cereal

We started Leah on cereal this week and she LOVES it! I just love adding new things to my kids lives and see how they handle it. She had no problem eating it and she kept majority of it in her mouth...she's a fast little learner!

First Bite

Happy Girl!

Here is Noah when he first started cereal. As you can see, he was more interested in the spoon then the cereal.

Look Alikes!

Lately we have really started to notice how much Leah is starting to look like Noah. Yes, they are different, but when they are together you can definitely tell that they are siblings. Tonight I took a picture of Leah, and as soon as I looked at it, it reminded me of a picture that I have of Noah. So, I went to the computer, put the pictures side by side, and I was amazed at how much they look like one another as babies! To me, they have the same nose, eyes, hair {they both have a widow's peak like theiy daddy}, and the same smile. What do you think?

Playing Together

Leah loves to watch Noah play with his toys, and the other day when I was in his room with him, he insisted that I put Leah on the ground so that he could play with her. Noah had a grand old time telling her all about his trains, and she had a great time listening to him and watching the train go around and around. The precious moment was when he went over to her and gave her a kiss on her head. I really do think that they are going to be the best of friends. I love watching their relationship grow each and every day...it's amazing to watch!

Such a happy little girl! I love her gummy smile!

Dr. Appointment & Mini Photo Shoot

I took Leah to the doctor today for her 2 month appointment and everything went wonderfully! Noah was very nervous the entire time that we were there {he isn't a huge fan of going to the doctor}. He was by Leah's side while the doctor examined her and he got really nervous when she started to make some sounds...not crying, just wimpers. He is a very protective brother and he gets really concerned whenever anyone other then mom or dad hold Leah. Leah was an angel and was very cooperative, thank goodness! Here are her 2 month stats:
Height ~ 24.5" {95th percentile}
Weight ~ 10 lbs 15 oz {50th percentile}
Head Circum. ~ 39.5 cm {50th percentile}

I had a mini photo shoot with the Noah and Leah today. I love, love, love taking pictures of these cute kids! I love to document almost everything that they do! Here are some cute shots...
Noah loves to hold Leah. He is such a good big bro!

Story Time

This morning Noah decided to read his "Choo Choo" book to Leah. Now, isn't that so sweet! He is such a good big brother to Leah, and I know that she appreciated it because she didn't even cry when he was shoving the book in her face!
