This morning Noah decided to read his "Choo Choo" book to Leah. Now, isn't that so sweet! He is such a good big brother to Leah, and I know that she appreciated it because she didn't even cry when he was shoving the book in her face!

Leah ~ One Month
Leah is starting to become very active and she loves to kick her legs and push up on her feet when we stand her up. She is starting to hold her head up when we put her on our shoulder. She loves to look around and observe everything around her {during the few hours that she is awake, that is!}. Just this past week she has been starting to smile, which is absolutely amazing! It just warms our heart when she gives us a quick little smile!
Leah is also growing like crazy!! She is a GREAT little eater and she lets you know when she is hungry! That is probably the only time that she really cries! Noah had his two year doctor appointment last week, so I weighed Leah while we were there and she was 8 lbs 15 oz, so I am thinking that she is just over 9 pounds right now. She is very long, just like her brother...I think our kids are going to be tall ones!!
Here are some of my favorite pictures of Leah from this past month...

Thank you to everyone who came to Noah's party...we had such a wonderful time and we look forward to the next party :)!!!

Happy Birthday Noah
To celebrate his birthday, we decided to take Noah to the Discovery Gateway Museum (formally known as The Children's Museum) up in Salt Lake. Noah LOVED the water exhibit and insisted on spending most of his time there. He loved watching the water go up and down on the water wheel and he liked floating his boat in the water.
Leah had a really fun time at the museum too...well, she had a really good time sleeping! She slept the entire time that we were there! She is such a good little girl :).
Afterwards, we went to The Pie {our favorite} and then went to my parent's house to open some gifts and have some cupcakes. My mom and dad spoiled Noah with some fun toys, which included a Fisher Price Internet Launch Pad {I can't believe that they make stuff like this for kids!! It is pretty neat!}.
My mom got some cupcakes from this cute little cupcake shop called So Cupcake {Check out their website and read the story behind their store...they have a very inspiring story.}. Now, Noah LOVES to sing Happy Birthday and he also LOVES to blow out candles, so this was a very special day for him! After singing Happy Birthday, he blew out the candles to eight cupcakes {I know he is only 2, but he thought it was so neat to blow out that many candles!}. Then Noah devoured an entire chocolate cupcake! They were quite yummy!!!

Snuggle Bugs
Here are some more pictures from the past few days...
Doug and I think that Leah's middle name should be Sleepy or Snoozer...she seriously sleeps all of the time!
Noah so wanted to go outside and play today! What is up with this weather?!?!? We want some warm, sunny weather so that we can go outside and play!

First Weeks With Leah
Leah is a wonderful baby! She sleeps all of the time, she barely cries, she is content and happy whenever she is awake...it's wonderful {knock on wood!!!}! She even sleeps through the night...yes, that's right, I have to wake her up to eat! What more could I ask for?!?!? Noah was a very demanding baby, so having a very mellow baby is fabulous! I am so grateful that she is this way because it makes it so much easier for me to give Noah the attention that he needs. Leah will just sit in my arms and fall asleep while I am on the floor playing with Noah. You would think that the Noah's loud voice would keep her awake, but she just sleeps through it!
Noah is adjusting so well to Leah. We did have a few moments of weakness the first day home, but other then that he has been great with her. He is very protective of her and he is constantly showering her with hugs and kisses. I know that these two are going to be the best of friends and I look forward to when Leah is old enough to play with Noah...it will be fun!!!
